I contacted a popular radio programme recently to see if we could post a 'Kindness Friday' rather than Black Friday where everyone is encouraged to shop shop shop. It would not be difficult to designate one day a month to Random Acts of Kindness, where we could consciously be kind to others more than other days of the week
